Took a nice trip to all star lanes and all I have to say is all my practice at Jack and Jill's midnight bowling... down the drain.
A full bag of chicken for a week's worth of lunches??? Yes please. SPA DAY.
Let's play a fun game okay?? I'm gonna describe a vegetable and yall are gonna have to guess what it is... okay?? GOOPY BALLS. Any guesses? Well if you guessed zucchini then you are correct according to Sister Spangler.
People down here in the south can't read but they don't want to admit it so they just make up random words instead of asking for help. Makes the story of Nephi very interesting!!
Thanks mom for the rain boots!! They really helped me out when I had to walk thru 2 feet of water to chase down Ms. Jay because she was RUNNING away from us. It was awesome.
Guys. The fact that I can't hold babies KILLS me. There was a little girl who absolutely LOVED the pictures in the book of Mormon and just wanted to sit on my lap and look at them and I was sobbing.
Do you ever get over one addiction with another addiction because God told you to?? Do you ever have spiritual experiences on things that are against the word of wisdom and God has made an exception for you??? Boyyy oh boyyy there are NO exceptions AT ALL!
Getting up at 5:45 to go play basketball in Baton Rouge before zone conference?? YES PLEASE.
Got to take pictures outside of the Baton Rouge temple at zone conference and I think a stake center in Utah is bigger than that! But it was BEAUTIFUL!!
Got to go down on LSU campus and see Tiger Stadium which was pretty cool... wanna know what was cooler? The *pseudo* good tacos and queso I got from Torchy's!!!!
I think Sister Starling getting asked out on a date was the highlight of my week. Or was it the fact that there was a LIZARD in my closet?
Or wait... was it the fact that we put Gidget ON DATE. You heard it folks! Gidget is gettin baptized!!
Got bold with it and committed her to throw away ALL of her alcohol and cut back 10 cigarettes and she said she would do it!! She has a long way to go but I am so excited for her!
Did a little two year old get me on the classic "thanks for cleaning my toilet" joke? Yes. Yup. That's all.
Anyone remember *67? Where you call someone and ask if their refrigerator is running? Classic. Well it comes in handy when 2/3 people block us per day!!
We had our mini mission thing with our ward on Sunday and after the first counselor of the mission presidency, President Garrett, spoke after. And wow! He spoke on how you have to have a testimony to be able to share your testimony. AMEN. A testimony of the gospel is one of the most important things. You can go around sharing messages from preach my gospel but the true converter is your personal testimony and experience. Sharing our testimonies is so important so let's make sure we have one!!!
I love this gospel. I love the Book of Mormon. I love being a missionary. And I love the people of Louisiana! I am so grateful to be able to go out EVERY DAY to talk about Jesus Christ and His PERFECT gospel. To teach people how they can be with their families FOREVER through Heavenly Fathers plan!!! To help people progress to eternal life!!! My testimony today is as strong as it ever has been, and the weakest it ever will be again.
I LOVE YOU ALL!! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
