Livin- Learnin- Lovin- in Louisiana

  Another exciting week in the 4th most dangerous city in the U.S!!!!! Was walking out of an apartment complex and a lady was walking out in a big rush!!  God had different plans for her and a recipt flew out of her hands!!!  Stopped her and gave it back and she goes "oh yall are the church people"  Yeah we are!!!   Called back that night and she had read our pamphlet already!!!!  Went back the next day and taught her the plan of salvation and she absolutely loved it!!!  It was so blessed and it's so cool to see God's hand in people's lives!!!  Went to the ward trunk or treat and went around stealing the kids candy mwhahaha  Went and taught Renee and she goes "I'm tryna get rebaptized but my pastor won't let me!!!!"  Well wll well we can help ya out with that!!!  Told her to come to church and she agreed to come next week and goes "that way I can tell people I won't be there next week, I don't have to tell them where I'm going ...

  Yuh yuh yuh Lots of biking, biking, and more biking!!! Had exchanges with Sister McCauley and saw so many miracles!!!  One of which, we put our friend Pagalyn ON DATE yuh yuh yuh!  Super cool! Super awesome!  Pls pray for Pagalyn!  Met with Edwin and he is the most elect guy ever!!! Gave him a Book of Mormon and he was so excited!!  Sadly he told us that he is just too busy to meet with us. Pray for Edwin that he can have that desire to read from the Book of Mormon and continue to learn more!  We were bikin our lil booties down the street and met Corey!!!  She was so excited to hear the message we had to share and let us sit down and talk with her right then and there!!!  She then proceeded to breastfeed her child and I saw WAY more than I wanted to HAHAHA I love the south!  Sister Burk turned down the wrong road and we ran into Tasha!!!  It was all meant to be cuz she was so prepared for the plan of salvation!!! She just lost her...

We back babyyy!  This week did a whole lotta bikin thats for sure!!!  At least we have unlimited miles 😎 We have been working alot with inactive members because there are SO MANY of them here in this town it's crazy!!!  We've had some funny experiences with some of them!  We went and visited James who got baptized back in the 80's but a week after he decided he is part of a different religion?!?!  Asked him where he stood rn and he said he be a Jedi-ite! It's exactly what you are thinking right now... he believes that there is a force which has a light side and a dark side!  I was mind blown!!! I was just trying to be respectful and not laugh because truly that is the most pathetic thing I have heard on my mission!!!  We texted another member and asked how he was doing and he goes "not good. I just lost all my life's savings betting on college football last night and my cat died"  Oh...  Continues on to ask if he can get his tithing back......

  GOOD MORNING (or evening??) NEW ORLEANS!!!!!!  You heard that right folks I'm comin at ya from NOLAAAAA  My last weeks in El Dorado were bitter sweet! Got to meet with all my besties and say bye!  Convinced Willie to agree to being baptized on Wednesday but we went thru the interview questions and he wasn't quite read yet!  Everyone please pray for Willie!  Said bye to my favorite people Deserae and Pamela :'( had a fire lesson on the plan of salvation and hit hard on temples and there were so many tears shed! Grateful for temples and the opportunity to help others work towards that goal!!!  ALRIGHT now about Nola 😎 My dream area!!! But it's always been an elders area because of how sketchy it is....  But SISTERS ARE NOW IN CENTRAL!!!!!! Lowkey probs only a big deal within the mission but it has been the best thing ever!!!! We don't have a car to use other than to get to church soooo we be bikin like none other!!!  Like legit in the past 2...
