Livin- Learnin- Lovin- in Louisiana

  If I'm being honest I wasn't gonna write a weekly this week but I think my mom would have written it for me if I didnt... so here we are.  This week was nothing out of the ordinary, lots of people no showing at lessons, so we love that, so I don't got much to say except that Thanksgiving was absolutely FIRE. I am still stuffed from all of that delicious food I ate. Louisiana knows how to do it RIGHT!!!  Our members are awesome and we had 4 meals to go to.  Wow I never want to do that again! I think I gained 20 pounds in that one day!!! Spent a lot of time at our bishops house and got the chance to bless his home. Me, Sister Danielson, the Elders, and the Weges were all in tears. The spirit was so so strong!!!  Bishop pranked us Utahns and made jello with the nastiest stuff in it.   I showed up to a funeral wearing my brightest dress. Why did no one tell me that it's only a thing in Utah to not wear black????  Elvis the squirrel died this week :((  He can finally rest in peace with out Bruno the dog barking at him 25/8!!!  Buried him in a nice ice cream cone box!  Went to Dukes with my favorite ladies!!!!  I ate FROG LEGS!!!  They were actually fire tho!  We had zone conference this week and learned that we can bless peoples homes!!!  The POWER that comes from that is crazy!! It has really helped with the people we have been teaching!  Got roasted for celebrating Christmas!!!!! Sister Danielson stepped in dog poo!!! Our fire alarms went off at 1 in the morning!!  Had to call 911!! Good news? There was no fire or carbon monoxide. Bad news?  All 4 of our alarms were 2 years expired!!!!   As me and Sister Danielson were sitting recapping our week for our emails, we decided we have no crazy stories but this was one of our best, most spirit filled weeks! This email is gonna probs be different from my others! Sorry Konner!! We have been doing lots of visiting less actives and members and we had one missionary ask us "why do you do so much member work? That doesn't effect our KIC's (Key Indicators for Conversion) in a positive way."  That same day, we went to do some member visits. We had one couple tell us about the passing of their granddaughter to an overdose on fentanyl. We got to talk about the Plan of Happiness and what a JOY it brings to know that we will see our loved ones again.  (They also said they wanted us to teach their daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons!!!)  Our purpose as missionaries is to "invite others to come unto Christ..."   Outside ALL DAY LONG, ALL WEEK LONG.  Our apartment fast was nothing but a grand ole' time!  Kayleigh, Cody, & Brayden were baptized and confirmed members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend.  The day was perfect, they are perfect.  Finally got brave enough to hold Elvis the squirrel!!!  We are best friends now.  Cat poop.  Garage floor.  Could I see the garage floor? No.. I could see the poop tho!  Had to literally scoop it out of the way!  YUMMY!!!!!!!! Made a bet with an inactive member!  "If LSU wins Alabama you are coming to church" LSU won in overtime.
