Livin- Learnin- Lovin- in Louisiana

  Anotha week!!!!  Arkansas is the coolest place!!!  Everyone is so so humble here and I love it!!!  Was there a shooting on a street we were on that day tho??? Yes. Yes there was... Met with Denise and I am scarred for life HAH!  Told us about some things that she went through in her life... I'll leave it there because I'm nauseous hehe!!  She cray cray and we never going back there!!!  Had a party with my bestie girl Brenda!!! Highlight of my week always.  She is prepping to go to the temple and I'm so excited for her!!!  I wish I could be with her all day every day!  Went over to Christine's apartment and had the most fire lesson on the restoration and we told her she could take our word for it... And SO QUICKLY she says "yeah I will!!" and we were like no no noo you gotta pray about it!!!!  So we went back and she had listened to 12 chapters of the Book of Mormon!!!!  I sobbed.  Christine is so cool!!  She is curr...

  Had to say bye to my bestie Sherman and I am so sad about it. Had the best last day with him &&& he got his temple recommend.  Sobbing.  Made it to the swag state of Arkansas!!!! Had to drive 5 HOURS????? First day drove down a dirt road, listening to some Garth Brooks with a fire sunset and man oh man I love it here!!!!  There are rolling hills here and I have not missed them while we are biking. But it's so green and just so different than anything else i had in Southern Louisiana!  Met Haley and her little 4 yr old boy Emmet!!! Haley is the definition of a Sweet Caroline country girl!!!  Emmet walked ran out and said "HEY GUESS WHAT, I HAVE A CUTE BUTT, LOOK!!!!!"  Boy was butt naked 🤝 Had to speak in sacrament meeting this week!!! Hadn't even got one foot in the door and they asked me to speak!!!  Sister Jenkins knew the whole week but decided to tell me Saturday night!!!!  I made it thru though!!  Had two people come ...

  IM SWIMMIN OUT THE BAYOU!!!  El Dorado Arkansas HERE I COME!!!  Sherman got baptized!!!!  The day was perfect.  He is perfect!!!!  I am so sad to leave him.  HOURS before his baptism we couldn't get ahold of him so we basically went and stalked him... Camping outside of his apartment and out walks Sherman in his wife beater tank top and boxers!!!!  His phone bill just wasn't paid  He HAD A FEELING that we were trying to call him!!!! He HAD A FEELING that we were outside!!!!!  And he followed those promptings!!!  Agh he's so cool!!!!!!  Got to go on exchanges at LSU!!  Geaux tigers!!!  Missed the national championship parade by ONE DAY.  Sobbing.  I'm so sad to be leaving the people of Lafayette but so so excited to go to Arkansas!!!!!!  Easter on the mission really hits different!!!!   Exchanges in Gonzo was nothing short of a dream!!!!!!  25 miles ridden on our bikes... To make it even BETTER???? It was POURING the whole time!!!!!!! My bestie Sherman had his baptismal interview and is so ready for baptism on Saturday!!!!  Pray that Satan doesn't get to him!!!  Got to help an inactive member weed her flower beds which basically had a layer of weeds over it and that was the quickest & most satisfying thing I've ever done!!!  Got to sustain my mission president as an area 70 which was kinda swag!!!  Can't wait to see Elder John D. Amos speak in conference!!!!  Went to longhorns with the Ferrells and Sister Ferrell asked the waiter to bring out and "embarrassing amount of butter"  Idk what was more embarrassing, the amount of butter that he brought out, or the fact that she didn't even touch the butter!!!!!!!!
