Pee Boy and Shirley

 I'm sick of coming up with a "what's up yall" typa line so we are now just getting straight into it. 

First off... 

I HAVE BEEN SHLUMPED THIS WEEK

I miss primary singing time. Momma Larsen took the dub for primary chorester for basically half her life frfr. We sit outside of their door before church and they just have such good songs they get to sing! Let's sing them in Relief Society please?! 

If yall didn't know there was always a dent or something in my car! Whether it was the front of my car smashed or the back of it read ended it was always wrecked. And rumor has it that my sister inlaw also got rear ended in it too while they were in Utah! My car would fit in just fine here. The amount of cars that don't even have bumpers is insane!! It literally looks like the go carts at boondocks with that metal bumper thing sticking out frfr! But apparently people don't have to take driver's ed here so that probably explains it hahah! 

Yall remember gidget?? Well we got her to commit to come to church!! She came and absolutely loved it!!! I mean I was stressin because it was not a very good sacrament meeting for someone's first time but oh well Gidget is coming back next week AYOO! She said she wanted to do her own thing and not follow her family, and she said that "this church" is more her style!!!! I love her! 

We have been meeting with this guy named Judah. He is such a cool guy! He has a whole bunch of questions that are beyond my job description frfr so we just do our best and rely on sister Ervin the genius to answer his questions! But he doesn't have a problem with Joseph Smith or the Book of Mormon anddd when he was finding anti stuff we told him to really only watch stuff put out by the church and he goes "that's sus... but like then I thought about it and if I wanted someone to know about me I would tell them to ask me, not someone else." So like we are getting somewhere!! We got him to come to church too!! Wellll tbh it probs wasn't the best sacrament he could have came to but it was alright! He came with a lot of questions and left with so many more. Not sure if he will be back but we are meeting again this week so we will see! 

Another free Jesus books story!!! We love free Jesus books!! Anyways, my guy Guzman (yes I slaughter his name everytime I say it) rolls up and starts telling us about his past and how he has cleaned up and is so grateful he had Jesus by his side always. So outta no where I invited him to church and he was like yeah ill be there and I'll bring my family too!! OKAY YES PLEASE! But sadly he didn't make it. Sad day. But we set up a lesson with him which was good so we will hopefully get him next week! 

We took the squad over to spring tree apartments where all my besties live! Ms. Jay, Ms. Bobby, and Ms. Wanda!! Ms. Wanda had a heart attack and was in the Baton Rouge hospital. Ms. Jay is a recent convert and was baptized like 5 months ago but doesn't come to church and makes up these amazing excuses about not coming and not being able to meet with us! So did we ambush her with about 7 people? YUPS! We had a good Book of Mormon study and even got two new people to come!! Ms. Bobby isn't baptized but she has taken the discussions before but she didn't want to come over for the study so instead she took the trash out and walked at .5 mph to get out of it! LOVE IT! 

Our ward is doing a little mini mission thing where all of the kids get little tags and a companion and are teaching the first lesson of the restoration!! Me and sister starling did a little lesson on how to teach and we bore our testimonies at the end and that was truly the first time I got to bear my testimony about my mission and being on a mission and WOW I feel like I have already changed so much and my testimony has been strengthened so much! This week has been so good! I love this gospel and I am so grateful I get to bring more people to the knowledge of the truth!!
