This week has been a somewhat slow but CRAZY week wowow!!! 

I told literally everyone that I was not going to be running for exercise but this past week, me and sister Spangler have gone on a run everydayyyy! The altitude here is SAVING me tho because I would be dying if I was in Utah but here, I could go forever! It's awesome! 

We went and did a service project for a lady the elders were teaching and let's just say, I still feel like I have bugs crawling all over me! She bought this trailer home and the people before got evicted or something so they left EVERYTHING in there! The fridge literally had maggots in it! I would tell you the oreo mcflurry analogy that the elders came up with, but I don't want to ruin mcflurrys for all yall! Anywaysss it was an interesting time! This lady was keeping things like couches and chairs and tables, all infested with bugs and I was dying inside because they were nasty! 

We had zone conference this week!!! We were at the church from 9am-6pm and wow it was so much fun!!! We were all dreading it because of how long we were going to be there but it FLEW BY! President Amos asked me to answer every other question basically because I am the ONLY greenie in the whole zone! But it was so fun to see everyone!! 

Alright, yall remember Scott? The members boyfriend? 

First off this man is a dry member! He has a testimony, knows what we are talking about, FASTED last fast Sunday, comes to church, prays, reads the book of Mormon, helps put tables away at ward activities! He is SO ready!!!

We went over to his house on Friday and were there for a lot longer than we should have and taught him the main 3 lessons!!! He picked it up so fast and him and his girlfriend, sister Broderick, had been reading a lot so he knew a lot of what we were talking about! He opened up sooo much about things that have happened in his life to get him to where he is today! There was such a sweet spirit! It was so awesome!!! 

He invited us back the next morning for waffles! And mannn I have missed a good breakfast!!! Anyways we went back and finished up the discussions! Literally got through everything!!! And we put him ON DATE FOR JULY 30!!!! We are so excited for him!! He's already talking about getting married and then sealed in the temple when he can go through! But for real this has been insane but soooo awesome!!! 

Anywayssss this week has been an awesome one!! Did some free Jesus books with the other sisters!! Eating lots of blue bell #tendermercy anddd Elder Hamilton is giving me his machete when he leaves!!!

This week I came across a quote and I'm not sure who it's by but I loved it 

"If God leads you to it, he will lead you through it" 

I love this quote because God had lead us right where we need to be right now!!! And even though things may get hard sometimes, God lead you to it sooo he will lead you through it!!! God's got you. 

This week I invite you all to write down 3 things you are grateful for!! It can be on your phone or in your journal!! Start to see the good in your lives!!!

We back babyyy!  This week did a whole lotta bikin thats for sure!!!  At least we have unlimited miles 😎 We have been working alot with inactive members because there are SO MANY of them here in this town it's crazy!!!  We've had some funny experiences with some of them!  We went and visited James who got baptized back in the 80's but a week after he decided he is part of a different religion?!?!  Asked him where he stood rn and he said he be a Jedi-ite! It's exactly what you are thinking right now... he believes that there is a force which has a light side and a dark side!  I was mind blown!!! I was just trying to be respectful and not laugh because truly that is the most pathetic thing I have heard on my mission!!!  We texted another member and asked how he was doing and he goes "not good. I just lost all my life's savings betting on college football last night and my cat died"  Oh...  Continues on to ask if he can get his tithing back......

  Another exciting week in the 4th most dangerous city in the U.S!!!!! Was walking out of an apartment complex and a lady was walking out in a big rush!!  God had different plans for her and a recipt flew out of her hands!!!  Stopped her and gave it back and she goes "oh yall are the church people"  Yeah we are!!!   Called back that night and she had read our pamphlet already!!!!  Went back the next day and taught her the plan of salvation and she absolutely loved it!!!  It was so blessed and it's so cool to see God's hand in people's lives!!!  Went to the ward trunk or treat and went around stealing the kids candy mwhahaha  Went and taught Renee and she goes "I'm tryna get rebaptized but my pastor won't let me!!!!"  Well wll well we can help ya out with that!!!  Told her to come to church and she agreed to come next week and goes "that way I can tell people I won't be there next week, I don't have to tell them where I'm going ...

Pathetic Panzees

  GUESS WHAT MOM?! I COME HOME THIS YEAR!!!!!!  Sister Stokes woke up one morning and the first thing she said was "I had a dream that we went to justin biebers house and we went fishing!!!!"  Hehe yes pls!!!!!!  This week was a whole lot of "huntin and fishin and lovin every day" to say the least!  Lots and lots of finding and man have we seen miracles!!!!!  We back at it with FREE JESUS BOOKS and it came in clutch!!  12 numbers in an hour????  UH HUH!!!!  Met Phillip!! He was baptized into a catholic church two weeks ago... and HES NOT EVEN CATHOLIC!!!! (Direct quote from Phillip!!!)  Came to church yesterday and absolutely LOVED IT!  Our bestie Nchedo made us some absolutely fire Nigerian food!  I'm not gonna wanna eat when I get home because food in Utah tastes like cardboard compared to here!!!  Probs a good thing... I'll lose all the weight I have gained since I have been out here!  Don't ask don't tell :))))...
