Kanye's Sunday Service

 A blessed past two weeks that's for sure!! 

Had Zone Conference and it was the best thing ever!! President and Sister Smuin are just the best most tender people I know!! Love them so much! 

Had exchanges with the Monroe sisters and me and sister Burk had so many amazing lessons!! 

We met with Brittany and taught her the restoration and she ate it up!! She loves the Book of Mormon and is so excited to read it!! 

Then we met with Keon!! Keon is so elect!! We got to teach the plan of salvation which is my most favorite lesson to teach!! I love seeing people try to comprehend the love that God really does have for us thru this plan!!! 

When Sister Jenkins came back we had a lesson with Shannon and Parker! Shannon's the dude we met on Facebook a couple weeks ago and he decided to bring his friend Parker along with him! We taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and put Shannon on date! Please pray we can continue to meet with him and help him progress towards baptism! 

Had a lesson with Daydra at Excalibur which is basically a mini Boondocks!!! It is so funny to me all the places we meet people to teach them about the Gospel! 

Met with my bestie Willie!! We met Willie at Walmart like 3 transfers ago and he has only missed one Sunday!! He is praying about baptism and taking his time so please pray that he will know that this is the church he needs to be at!! Love him with my whole heart! 

Had another exchange with the Bastrop sisters and me and Sister Burrows took on Bastrop!!! 

She wanted to work on being bold so I said buckle up you're going for a ride!! 

We went looking for a referral and we couldn't find the address because there wasn't an apartment number. So we kept driving down the road and there was this lady sitting out side and I said okay you wanna be bold here ya go and rolled down her window! Turns out that lady we met was literally the referral we were looking for!!! So crazy! 

I love being able to go on exchanges with all the sisters in the zone! I get to learn so much from them and they are all just the best! 

Our day literally went in the dumps on Saturday it was so cray cray! We had like 3 hours to fill cause everything fell through!! We also didn't have the car so we found an apartment complex and started to knock! The most adorable family let us in and we got to teach the whole restoration on first contact!! I HAVE THE HUGEST TESTIMONY OF TRACTING! Love it! 

Sitting in Relief Society this Sunday and our primary president came and got us and she was with a guy who had just walked into the church building looking for a new church to go to!! So we got talking with him and got to teach him the restoration! Cool guy for sure! 

Like I mentioned before I absolutely LOVE teaching the Plan of Salvation!!! But what I love even more is teaching people about the Atonement of Jesus Christ!! I've been studying the atonement lately and the gifts that come from it and it is truly so powerful! There was a moment in the Garden where he suffered for YOU! Just YOU!! I love the atonement so much and I'm just so grateful for it!!

We back babyyy!  This week did a whole lotta bikin thats for sure!!!  At least we have unlimited miles 😎 We have been working alot with inactive members because there are SO MANY of them here in this town it's crazy!!!  We've had some funny experiences with some of them!  We went and visited James who got baptized back in the 80's but a week after he decided he is part of a different religion?!?!  Asked him where he stood rn and he said he be a Jedi-ite! It's exactly what you are thinking right now... he believes that there is a force which has a light side and a dark side!  I was mind blown!!! I was just trying to be respectful and not laugh because truly that is the most pathetic thing I have heard on my mission!!!  We texted another member and asked how he was doing and he goes "not good. I just lost all my life's savings betting on college football last night and my cat died"  Oh...  Continues on to ask if he can get his tithing back......

  Another exciting week in the 4th most dangerous city in the U.S!!!!! Was walking out of an apartment complex and a lady was walking out in a big rush!!  God had different plans for her and a recipt flew out of her hands!!!  Stopped her and gave it back and she goes "oh yall are the church people"  Yeah we are!!!   Called back that night and she had read our pamphlet already!!!!  Went back the next day and taught her the plan of salvation and she absolutely loved it!!!  It was so blessed and it's so cool to see God's hand in people's lives!!!  Went to the ward trunk or treat and went around stealing the kids candy mwhahaha  Went and taught Renee and she goes "I'm tryna get rebaptized but my pastor won't let me!!!!"  Well wll well we can help ya out with that!!!  Told her to come to church and she agreed to come next week and goes "that way I can tell people I won't be there next week, I don't have to tell them where I'm going ...

Pathetic Panzees

  GUESS WHAT MOM?! I COME HOME THIS YEAR!!!!!!  Sister Stokes woke up one morning and the first thing she said was "I had a dream that we went to justin biebers house and we went fishing!!!!"  Hehe yes pls!!!!!!  This week was a whole lot of "huntin and fishin and lovin every day" to say the least!  Lots and lots of finding and man have we seen miracles!!!!!  We back at it with FREE JESUS BOOKS and it came in clutch!!  12 numbers in an hour????  UH HUH!!!!  Met Phillip!! He was baptized into a catholic church two weeks ago... and HES NOT EVEN CATHOLIC!!!! (Direct quote from Phillip!!!)  Came to church yesterday and absolutely LOVED IT!  Our bestie Nchedo made us some absolutely fire Nigerian food!  I'm not gonna wanna eat when I get home because food in Utah tastes like cardboard compared to here!!!  Probs a good thing... I'll lose all the weight I have gained since I have been out here!  Don't ask don't tell :))))...
