"Its a cashew"

As me and Sister Danielson were sitting recapping our week for our emails, we decided we have no crazy stories but this was one of our best, most spirit filled weeks! This email is gonna probs be different from my others! Sorry Konner!!

We have been doing lots of visiting less actives and members and we had one missionary ask us "why do you do so much member work? That doesn't effect our KIC's (Key Indicators for Conversion) in a positive way."

That same day, we went to do some member visits. We had one couple tell us about the passing of their granddaughter to an overdose on fentanyl. We got to talk about the Plan of Happiness and what a JOY it brings to know that we will see our loved ones again.
(They also said they wanted us to teach their daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons!!!)
Our purpose as missionaries is to "invite others to come unto Christ..." Members or friends!!!
Member work is the greatest work!!!

This week we got a text from Scott (our recent convert) that Teddi (his wife) had passed away in her sleep. Scott was absolutely shattered. So was I. I got the chance to know Teddi on a whole different level than I ever thought I would. The conversations and the lessons that I got to have with her, I will never forget.

My testimony of the Plan of Salvation has grown exponentially since I have been out here. I get a chance almost every day while we are out on the streets to bear my testimony that I KNOW we can be with our families forever. I get to share my personal experiences and my knowledge that I get to see my Granny again one day. This is the closest I have ever felt her. Grateful to know I ALWAYS have her by my side.

We got to go help a Sister Nauta who is batteling cancer. We got to help clean her house and to take her outside on a walk. The JOY that she has because she knows she is here for a reason is indescribable!!! She knows her purpose and it's missionary work!! Everytime we are over there she has a referral or an update on someone she is going to have us teach in the future. She is a fireball. I love her.

Brayden performed in the primary program & got to bear his testimony on the Holy Ghost! He's an angel.
Cody passed the sacrament for the first time! He's perfect!
We are going to the temple with Kayleigh and Cody in the next couple weeks!!
I love these kids with my whole heart!

This week was so so good! But so so hard. I miss home (and my shoes) and I miss my mom. People always say I never have any struggles, or so it seems in my emails, but let me tell yall, this is hard! But what am I doing this for??? I'm doing this so that others can come to know of the truthfulness of this perfect gospel! To know that they can be with their families FOREVER! I am reminded of this every single day!

I love yall so so much!!
