What up what up what up!!! 

Sorry it's been like 3 weeks oops
Speed update!!!! 

It's official. Me and sister Jenkins were finally split up and I'm heartbroken about it. Lots of tears shed.

It's okay tho because my new comp is literally so so awesome!! Her name is sister Poll, pronounced Paul tho, so I get a cute lil reminder of my awesome dad every time I say her name!

Me and Sister Jenkins had so many miracles our last week together!!! We put Luke and John on date!!! WHAT WHAT!!!! Pray for them and all of their word of wisdom trials!! 

Idk if yall remember Shannon but he lowkey be ghosting us now... that's okay tho! He brought his roommate to a lesson one time and now we are teaching him!! We asked Parker if Shannon was home and he was like no... with a lil smirk on his face so we went on with the lesson. 20 minutes later one of Shannon's friends pulls up and goes yo Parker is Shannon home and Parker just laughs and says yeah he's inside... it was so funny!! Truth always comes out! 

We had a lesson with Willie and really hit hard on baptism because this homeboy has come to church for real 20 times in a row and hasn't missed a week! We found out that he is scared to promise God anything. He promised him that he'd stop doing drugs but didn't so then he had a stroke... I mean I'd be scared to but like bro natural consequences are a thing!!!! 

The day came that we had to say goodbye and we dropped her off in Alexandria and then headed down to Baton Rouge to pick up my new comp!!! 
5 ½ hour drive WAHOO!!! 

Got my cute comp and then we headed right back on up to El Dorado!!! 5 ½ hour drive pt 2!!! 

The next couple days we're crazy with planning for this upcoming transfer and things like that so we literally had no time to do anything for real!!! 

Our friend Brooklynn got baptized on Sunday!!! It was such a happy day! After she came out of the water she was crying and gave her grandpa the biggest hug!! 
Her mom is very inactive but has been coming to church lately and it's been so amazing to see the example Brooklynn has been to her whole family!!! 

Last Monday we had to drive back to Baton Rouge for MLC! 5 ½ hour drive pt 3!!!! We went to my favorite place!! TORCHYS!! Got free queso too!! 

Got to sleep in the mission home with 20 other sisters and I think walking into the house seeing all of my besties is what heaven is going to feel like!! I was so much fun!! Got to see Sister Thompson and Sister Jenkins!!! The 3 amigos are back babyyyy!! Love them both with my whole heart!! 

MLC is always a good time!! Biggest change is that I can no longer use messenger to communicate with friends... sad day! So everyone pls email me!!!! 
But the Smuins are just the best and I love them with my whole heart!!!
We then drove home!! 5 ½ hour drive pt 4!!! 

This past week we have spent a lot of time at the Oakhurst Apartments and when we started tracting there we had no people who lived there and now we have like 20!!! Tracting is the most blessed thing ever for real!! 

Super cool miracle from that complex is that we met this girl named Yasmin!!! I guess the other sisters were teaching her for a while and then couldn't get ahold of her so they stopped going over there!! She was so excited to see us because she was so sad when the sisters stopped coming by!! She mentioned she wanted to get dunked so we gonna help her with that!!! 

We knocked a lot of doors these past weeks!!! And guess what?! We only got threatened to have a person's dog attack us once!!! Wahoo!!! I love knocking doors!!! 

We committed John to for real follow the word of wisdom and I asked him if he'd throw away his tobacco or if he needed to give it to us and he goes "I'll throw it away" and I said "will you really?" And he gets up and says "I'll go get it" and went out to his truck and handed it over! HAHAHA it was so funny!! That stuff be nasty even just from looking at it! 

These past few weeks have been lots and lots of driving for sure!! But truly I have been having the time of my life and time just keeps going faster and faster!!! Like how is it September?! Weird to think i have a little over 2 months left!!! Time flies when you're having fun I guess!!! God is way too good!!

We back babyyy!  This week did a whole lotta bikin thats for sure!!!  At least we have unlimited miles 😎 We have been working alot with inactive members because there are SO MANY of them here in this town it's crazy!!!  We've had some funny experiences with some of them!  We went and visited James who got baptized back in the 80's but a week after he decided he is part of a different religion?!?!  Asked him where he stood rn and he said he be a Jedi-ite! It's exactly what you are thinking right now... he believes that there is a force which has a light side and a dark side!  I was mind blown!!! I was just trying to be respectful and not laugh because truly that is the most pathetic thing I have heard on my mission!!!  We texted another member and asked how he was doing and he goes "not good. I just lost all my life's savings betting on college football last night and my cat died"  Oh...  Continues on to ask if he can get his tithing back......

  Another exciting week in the 4th most dangerous city in the U.S!!!!! Was walking out of an apartment complex and a lady was walking out in a big rush!!  God had different plans for her and a recipt flew out of her hands!!!  Stopped her and gave it back and she goes "oh yall are the church people"  Yeah we are!!!   Called back that night and she had read our pamphlet already!!!!  Went back the next day and taught her the plan of salvation and she absolutely loved it!!!  It was so blessed and it's so cool to see God's hand in people's lives!!!  Went to the ward trunk or treat and went around stealing the kids candy mwhahaha  Went and taught Renee and she goes "I'm tryna get rebaptized but my pastor won't let me!!!!"  Well wll well we can help ya out with that!!!  Told her to come to church and she agreed to come next week and goes "that way I can tell people I won't be there next week, I don't have to tell them where I'm going ...

Pathetic Panzees

  GUESS WHAT MOM?! I COME HOME THIS YEAR!!!!!!  Sister Stokes woke up one morning and the first thing she said was "I had a dream that we went to justin biebers house and we went fishing!!!!"  Hehe yes pls!!!!!!  This week was a whole lot of "huntin and fishin and lovin every day" to say the least!  Lots and lots of finding and man have we seen miracles!!!!!  We back at it with FREE JESUS BOOKS and it came in clutch!!  12 numbers in an hour????  UH HUH!!!!  Met Phillip!! He was baptized into a catholic church two weeks ago... and HES NOT EVEN CATHOLIC!!!! (Direct quote from Phillip!!!)  Came to church yesterday and absolutely LOVED IT!  Our bestie Nchedo made us some absolutely fire Nigerian food!  I'm not gonna wanna eat when I get home because food in Utah tastes like cardboard compared to here!!!  Probs a good thing... I'll lose all the weight I have gained since I have been out here!  Don't ask don't tell :))))...
