I AM A MISSIONARY!!!

 Hello everyone!!!

I finished my first week of online MTC!!! I head to provo on Wednesday and I could not be more excited!!! My comps are Sister Thomas from San Diego and Sister Binns from Houston! It has been confusing because we are all in three different time zones!! I literally have the best time with them! We get along so well and I can’t wait to meet them in person on Wednesday! In my district we have 10 people, they are all so fun and at some points during our online mtc we would just get on and just hang out and talk with each other and they are all HILARIOUS! I am so grateful that the lord blessed me with such great people to start my mtc journey!!

Waking up at 6:30 is nearly impossible for me. I will wake up but then I just lay in bed because I can’t get up! And when I get to Louisiana it is going to be even worse because they are an hour ahead of us! I have been quite surprised with how good I can fall asleep though! Pre-mission I would go to bed at 2 most nights! 10:00 was basically still day time for me but I guess that is one blessing is that I can fall asleep!

One morning my mom got me up at 5:30 to go do a high fit class. Lets just say I am the most uncoordinated person to ever do that wow! It really took its toll on me though! I fell asleep in my first class of the day! HAHAH! Luckily it was a class with like all the new missionaries so like 375 people were on so I just turned my camera off and took a quick 20 minute nap in my chair! Exactly what I needed! In those new missionary classes there is one girl who says XD every sentence and I was dying! Good mems! IYKYK

Most days looked the same, Class from 8:30-11:30, 12:00-1:00, and 6:00-9:00 with comp study and personal study somewhere in there! During my breaks I went outside a lot and would go jump on the tramp with all the kids who were outside! I went to run errands with my mom a lot! And I have come to find out that in utah missionaries get a lot of looks! The first day I went out I had a cute little old lady say “how are you today sister” and I was very caught off guard, and so many people smile at me! My comps said that outside of utah you just look like another worker with a tag on! Kinda funny how different it is! I also had my first experience of someone trying to avoid me! I was passing out invitations to our ward party with my mom and this lady who doesn’t come to church couldn’t have walked to her front door faster! It was locked tho so seeing her trying to fidget with her keys to get away from me was very funny!

Feels good to get my first week over with!! I am so excited for what is to come! I love y'all so much!

Ether 12:6 "And now, I, Moroni, would speak I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith." - This was one of our main scriptures this week! I have always loved this scripture and it has been a major key to me being on my mission! The lord is going to try our faith in many instances and we need to follow to receive truth! God loves you all so much and so do I!!!
