Anotha one bites the dust

 Hola Hola!!! 


These past three weeks have been a blast and a half! 

Went on exchanges with Sister Rudin and we went and got absolutely demolished by Sheila!!!! 
Welcomed us in so lovingly then told us we are going to hell and we are going to remember Ms. Sheila when we get to the judgment bar and wish we listened to her!!!!! 
I wanted to tell her the exact same thing!!! 
Walking out of situations like that is like a breath of fresh air and truly just strengthens my testimony!!!!! 
I love getting bashed! 

Got a referral for Morice who lives in Junction City so we stopped by on our way thru to district council!! 
Turns out he is James' pastor!!!! 
James is one of the sisters friends who knows the Book of Mormon is true but just won't admit it!!! 
He always says "well I went to my pastor and he said this..."
Looks like we are going to convert his pastor then he will jump into the font! 

Got to go on exchanges with Sister Killpack and we got to have lessons with my favorite people!!! 
Bagging chicken is always a highlight! I love stuffing raw chicken quarters into ziplocks!!!!! 

Had Zone Conference and that was awesomely awesome as usual!! 
Had a cool testimony meeting on restored truths and the spirit was so strong! 
We then had to go to bdubs because why not right??? 
There was some fight night going on there and it was cray cray!!! 

We met with Pamela and taught her about the Plan of Salvation a d TEMPLES!!! She loves her family so much and wants to get to the temple so bad so she can get baptized for her mom!!!! 
Set a goal for her to be done smoking by HALLOWEEN!!! 
Please please pray for her!! 

We then headed back down to Monroe for Stake Conference!!! 
Had Zone Pday so we just stayed over and got to hang out with all of the missionaries in our zone on pday!! Played a mean game of signs!!! 

I went on exchanges with Sister Hesson and got to meet the cutest people out in Rayville!!! 
Yolanda said her grandkids sent in a referral but said we could still come over!!! 
She will be grateful that she did cuz she be going to church on Sunday!!!! 

Ms. Jacky has my whole heart!! We taught her about the Fall of Adam and Eve being a good thing and she goes "WHATTTT I've never thought about it like THAT!!! It makes so much sense!!!"
YES JACKY YES! 

Finally made it back over to Clara's and wowow I missed her so much! 
She had so many great questions about the Church and the Priesthood! 
Everyone please pray that she will be able to know how God answers her prayers!!!!! 

Had a lesson with Willie and he FINALLY agreed to pray about a day to be baptized!!!! 
Been teaching this homie for 6 months!! 
Please pray that he will be able to recieve his answer!! 

Sorry I have been slacking in writing these emails!!! I'll try to do better in these last weeks that I have!!

We back babyyy!  This week did a whole lotta bikin thats for sure!!!  At least we have unlimited miles 😎 We have been working alot with inactive members because there are SO MANY of them here in this town it's crazy!!!  We've had some funny experiences with some of them!  We went and visited James who got baptized back in the 80's but a week after he decided he is part of a different religion?!?!  Asked him where he stood rn and he said he be a Jedi-ite! It's exactly what you are thinking right now... he believes that there is a force which has a light side and a dark side!  I was mind blown!!! I was just trying to be respectful and not laugh because truly that is the most pathetic thing I have heard on my mission!!!  We texted another member and asked how he was doing and he goes "not good. I just lost all my life's savings betting on college football last night and my cat died"  Oh...  Continues on to ask if he can get his tithing back......

  Another exciting week in the 4th most dangerous city in the U.S!!!!! Was walking out of an apartment complex and a lady was walking out in a big rush!!  God had different plans for her and a recipt flew out of her hands!!!  Stopped her and gave it back and she goes "oh yall are the church people"  Yeah we are!!!   Called back that night and she had read our pamphlet already!!!!  Went back the next day and taught her the plan of salvation and she absolutely loved it!!!  It was so blessed and it's so cool to see God's hand in people's lives!!!  Went to the ward trunk or treat and went around stealing the kids candy mwhahaha  Went and taught Renee and she goes "I'm tryna get rebaptized but my pastor won't let me!!!!"  Well wll well we can help ya out with that!!!  Told her to come to church and she agreed to come next week and goes "that way I can tell people I won't be there next week, I don't have to tell them where I'm going ...

Pathetic Panzees

  GUESS WHAT MOM?! I COME HOME THIS YEAR!!!!!!  Sister Stokes woke up one morning and the first thing she said was "I had a dream that we went to justin biebers house and we went fishing!!!!"  Hehe yes pls!!!!!!  This week was a whole lot of "huntin and fishin and lovin every day" to say the least!  Lots and lots of finding and man have we seen miracles!!!!!  We back at it with FREE JESUS BOOKS and it came in clutch!!  12 numbers in an hour????  UH HUH!!!!  Met Phillip!! He was baptized into a catholic church two weeks ago... and HES NOT EVEN CATHOLIC!!!! (Direct quote from Phillip!!!)  Came to church yesterday and absolutely LOVED IT!  Our bestie Nchedo made us some absolutely fire Nigerian food!  I'm not gonna wanna eat when I get home because food in Utah tastes like cardboard compared to here!!!  Probs a good thing... I'll lose all the weight I have gained since I have been out here!  Don't ask don't tell :))))...
